Sonicwall Certificate

If you receive a warning that a website is untrusted you will need to install the following certificate:- 

  1. Browse to http://www.praestantiatech.co.uk/sw2048.cer 

Note this is CASE SENSITIVE so must be entered EXACTLY as above

  1. The certificate will download

Click each of the below links and you should be prompted to open or save. Click Open (or, if Chrome was used then click downloaded file in lower left corner). If you see a file security warning then click Open to proceed. If all goes well you will now see a Certificate dialog. Click the Install Certificate button. In the Certificate wizard choose the Local Machine Store Location and click Next. If prompted click Next to proceed. In the next part of the Certificate Import choose the 'Place all certificates in the following store' option then click Browse and choose 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities' from the available list followed by OK. Click Next and then Finish. You should see 'import was successful' message. Click Ok to close message and then OK again to close the Certificate dialog. You now need to repeat the exact same process again with the second certificate.


If installing on an iPad the certificate must also be trusted:-

On iOS devices (iPads, iPhone) 
  1. Browse to http://www.praestantiatech.co.uk/sw2048.cer 
    1. Note this is CASE SENSITIVE so must be entered EXACTLY as above
  2. Once loaded click on Allow 

  3. A notification will be displayed – Profile Downloaded, select Close 

  4. Open Settings 

  5. Click on Profile Downloaded (toward top left) 

  6. click on Install a few times then Done 

  7. Once installed you will also need to choose GeneralAbout Certificate Trust Settings (bottom) 

  8. drag slider across to ensure the certificate is trusted

  9. then click on Continue

Please Note these will differ depending on what versions of iOS is installed
