Remote SIMS - MAC - SOMERSET Schools

Hosted SIMS access from a MAC

1.  Download Microsoft Remote Desktop 10 for Mac 
   

• Add a workspace at the top

 

• In the email or workspace field enter the below URL for hosted SIMS

https://sims.hostedapps.org/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx

 

• When prompted, enter the required credentials

HOSTEDAPPS\username then password

• Once completed you should see in work Resources a Hosted SIMS icon – click on this
• You might need to enter username and password again.

 

This should open and present you with normal SIMS/FMS Launcher

Try Explore S or Secure Browser to test
